SHEPHERD UNIVERSITY: Students, faculty, staff donate to local holiday causes

Shepherd University recently issued the following announcement.

Shepherd University students, faculty, and staff are helping make the holidays special for those who might not otherwise receive much.

Shepherd’s Office of Student Community Services collected donations for the Salvation Army, Operation Christmas Teen, Candy Cane Express at T.A. Lowery Elementary School, and Berkeley Senior Services.

Shepherd filled 50 stockings for children up to age 12 and fulfilled requests on 11 angel tags for the Salvation Army, collected donated items and about $400 cash for Candy Cane Express and Operation Christmas Teen, and collected food items for Berkeley Senior Services to provide holiday meals for seniors.
